I seriously LOVE working with couples, and there’s only one thing I love more than that- being able to share the couples sessions we do! We have been so privileged to have so many couples in front of our lenses, and this is not the only one in our blog queue!
J & P were so fun to photograph, and have been friends of our for quite some time! As a couple, and especially one that also parents together, these two were so deserving of this intimate experience together. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t typically do couples in the studio because of the limited space- but since they wanted two locations for their shoot it ended up working out very well! It got incredibly hot near the end and required water breaks while I fanned Mrs. J with a vintage fan.
I love working with couples because it is so much fun seeing the chemistry between them as well as playfulness! These two brought the heat for sure, so I hope you enjoy this set as much as we do!
When working with couples, we always love to start out photographing each person separately while the other person watches. By the time we let them pose together, all the nervousness is gone! Plus, I find that when you have the person who means the most to you doing the session with you, you are just so much more comfortable!
